I'm still trying to learn the ins and outs of this program and also be more prolific. I'm forcing myself to call a practice picture done, and move on.

Oak Leaf and Maple Leaf

These are a couple of leaf vectors I drew today for a project that has been in the works for awhile. They'll be incorporated into a larger design. They're going to be smaller elements of the larger work, so a lot of contrast isn't necessary at this stage.

January 30th Sketch

I've been playing with Paint Tool SAI lately, and so far I am loving it. Its a versatile little program that doesn't hog as much memory as PS. Granted, it can't do nearly as much as PS can, but its also not photo software. Its designed to mimic painting. There is a ton to learn about it, but unfortunately there's not a ton of information out there in English about this program. Here's a monochromatic sketch I did with it. I spent a couple hours each night on it for the last couple of nights. I can't wait to dig down deep into this program and see what I can do with it.

Inactivity for a Reason

I know its been quiet around here for a while, but I've recently started a new job and I've been focusing on adjusting to it. So far I really love my new job and the opportunities it has presented.

I haven't been completely inactive with art though. And here's a photo to prove it! This is something I've been playing around with this last week. Whenever its finished I will post the completed version here!
